Why do you think it may be important to consider solution-focused narrative and feminist theories for the above reasons?
 
4)  Now that you have studied all the different theories of psychotherapy, what theory do you feel has the strongest approach for the population you may want to work with? Do you think that you will need to learn more than one approach? Why?

C) Throughout the course, you have studied and outlined a number of counseling theories which are used as the basis for the counseling profession. In this paper, choose a theory and compare it against each of the following four theories: cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and psychoanalysis. Due 11/26/14

Choose a theory that you have studied in this course. Do not choose one of the four theories listed above.

Compare your selected theory against the four theories listed above.

Each of the four comparisons should be 250-400 words. Include the following in each comparison:

1. Founding theorists
2. Length of treatment for each theory
3. Standard Interventions

While your paper consists of four comparisons, it should be written as one cohesive deliverable with an introduction, conclusion, and reference page.

You must use at least three references outside of the textbook in each comparison.
